FAQ
Bamboo Bedding FAQs
How is Cube Home bamboo bedding made?
Our bamboo bedding is made from 100% bamboo viscose using a closed-loop production process—this means all water and solvents are captured, filtered, and reused rather than released into the environment. Unlike conventional viscose, Cube Home bamboo fabric is made using bio-enzymes instead of harsh chemicals—a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable method that protects your skin and the planet. All our fabrics are also OEKO-TEX® certified, guaranteeing they’re free from harmful substances and safe for even the most sensitive skin.
What is the thread count of Cube Home sheets?
Thread count works a bit differently for bamboo, but in terms of feel, our sheets are comparable to 1,000+ thread count cotton. They’re silky-smooth, lightweight, and naturally breathable—perfect for a luxurious night’s sleep.
How do I wash bamboo bedding?
Wash your bedding in cold water on a gentle cycle using mild liquid detergent. Avoid fabric softeners and bleach. You can tumble dry on low or hang dry. Bamboo smooths out naturally once on your bed, but if needed, iron on a low setting.
Is bamboo bedding cold in winter?
Not at all. Our bamboo bedding is thermoregulating, meaning it adjusts to your body temperature to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter—without ever feeling too hot or too chilly.
Is bamboo better than cotton?
Absolutely. Bamboo is softer, more breathable, and far more sustainable—using up to 90% less water and growing without pesticides. It’s naturally cooling (unlike cotton, which traps heat), moisture-wicking, and antibacterial, so it stays fresher for longer with fewer changes. Plus, it’s more durable—bamboo keeps its softness over time, while cotton can wear out. It’s also hypoallergenic, making it ideal for sensitive skin, allergies, and asthma.
Is bamboo bedding good for sensitive skin?
Absolutely. Bamboo fibres are naturally smooth and hypoallergenic, making them ideal for people with eczema, acne, or sensitive skin. They’re also antibacterial and moisture-wicking to help you stay fresh overnight.
Bamboo Towel FAQs
Are Cube Home towels 100% bamboo?
Yes—our towels are made from 100% bamboo viscose for next-level softness, absorbency, and freshness. They're naturally antibacterial, odour-resistant, and gentle on even the most sensitive skin. We produce them using a closed-loop process that reuses water and solvents, cutting down waste. Unlike conventional viscose, we use bio-enzymes instead of harsh chemicals—a cleaner, safer method that’s better for you and the planet. Plus, they’re OEKO-TEX® certified, so you can trust they’re free from harmful substances.
Do bamboo towels dry well?
They do. Bamboo is highly absorbent and quick-drying. Our towels soak up moisture easily and dry fast after use or washing—while resisting odour and bacteria build-up.
How should I wash bamboo towels?
Wash in cold or warm water with a mild detergent. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners to protect the fibres. Tumble dry on low or hang dry to keep them softer for longer.
Are bamboo towels thinner or less bulky than cotton towels? Yes—bamboo fibres are naturally finer and smoother than cotton, which gives our towels a lighter, less bulky feel. But don’t be fooled by the softness—they’re just as absorbent, if not more. The result? A towel that dries quickly, feels luxuriously soft, and saves space on your towel rail or in your gym bag.
Bamboo Sleep Mask FAQs
What is Cube Home’s sleep mask made from?
Our sleep masks are made entirely from our bamboo viscose—both inside and out. That includes the silky outer layer and breathable interior padding. No synthetic fillers, just pure natural softness against your skin.
Is a bamboo sleep mask good for my skin?
Yes. Bamboo is hypoallergenic and highly breathable, helping to reduce breakouts, irritation, and creasing around your eyes. It's ideal for sensitive skin and nightly use.
Can I wash the sleep mask?
Yes. Hand wash gently in cold water with mild soap, and lay flat to dry.
How do bamboo sleep masks compare to silk sleep masks?
Bamboo sleep masks offer all the luxury of silk—plus extra benefits silk can’t match. They’re cooling, breathable, hypoallergenic, and made from 100% plant-based materials, making them both vegan-friendly and more sustainable.
While silk is animal-derived, delicate, and often expensive, bamboo is durable, naturally antibacterial, and moisture-wicking, so it stays fresher for longer and feels better on sensitive skin. Plus, unlike many silk masks that use synthetic fillers, ours are crafted entirely from organic bamboo—inside and out.
In short? Bamboo does everything silk does—just better (and more affordably).
